The EN 17353 standard determines the design of professional and non-professional clothing with retroreflective strips and fluorescent material not included in the High Visibility clothing standard EN 20471.
There are no longer distinctions between professional and non-professional VTs as in EN ISO 20471.
Enhanced visualization equipment is intended to make users more noticeable in moderate risk situations regardless of daylight conditions or illumination by vehicle headlights or spotlights in the dark
This risk has resulted in the design and implementation of the standard: EN 17353

Fluorescent material should be distributed around the torso and/or limbs

The minimum area of retro must appear both on the lower and / or upper limbs => 30 mm strips used


NB: the blue frames on the diagrams define the zones where the strips can be positioned
The retroreflective surface must therefore appear on the torso or on the torso and limbs


Minimum surface of 800 cmÂČ distributed 180 cmÂČ minimum on the lower or upper limbs and the rest on the torso.
