Definition of the EN 17353 standard
This new standard EN 17353 has 3 classifications:
- TYPE A: Visible by day, only in fluorescent material
- TYPE B: Visible in the dark, presence of retroreflective material:
- B1 : free hanging – not concerned by our catalog lines
- B2: Members
- B3: Torso or Torso and Limbs
- TYPE AB: Visible in daylight, half-light and darkness, with retroreflective and fluorescent materials

The minimum area of retro must appear both on the lower and / or upper limbs => 30 mm strips used
