Protective clothing designed to protect the body against moderately cold environments – Temperature down to -5°C
Performance coding in the form of 5 indices:
- Y : Thermal resistance class – Rct
- Y: Air Permeability Class – AP
- Y : Insulation value – Motionless dummy test – Icler. In m2*K/W, of the garment with the standard set of R is required for a Rct of class 4. While it is mandatory for class 4, it is optional for classes 1 to 3
- WP Water penetration resistance class (optional)
- X indicates that the article of clothing has not been tested
If > 8000 PA, WP otherwise put X
